Privacy Notice
Last updated: 12 June 2026
1. Who we are
Thrive with ARC is operated by Access Resource Centre (ARC), the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us at arccanhelp@outlook.com.
2. What we collect and why
- Account data (name, email, login credentials) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- App content (brain-dumps, tasks, calendar entries, reminders, settings) — so we can provide the planner features. Legal basis: performance of our contract.
- Support messages you send us — to respond to your queries. Legal basis: legitimate interests in helping you.
- Usage and device data (IP address, browser, device identifiers, basic telemetry, error reports) — to keep the service secure, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Payment and billing information — collected and processed by Paddle (see below); we do not see your full card details.
3. Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, analytics, error monitoring, and customer-support tooling.
- Paddle — our Merchant of Record, who handles checkout, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, refunds, and invoicing.
- Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where reasonably required.
- Authorities — where required by law.
4. International transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the UK / EEA. Where data leaves the UK / EEA we rely on safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account and app content for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period unless we are legally required to keep it (for example tax records held by Paddle).
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these rights, email arccanhelp@outlook.com. We will respond within one month.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and authenticated APIs — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
8. Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future we will update this notice and ask for consent where required.
9. Changes
We may update this notice. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
